FBE Raw - Origin Story
- Short Version -
So how and why was FBE Raw created?
Well, the short answer is, the FBE Channel got sued, censored & demonetized, for simply calling out the bullshit in society.
This all means, we need a new place and better place, to create amazing content.
A place that is free from restrictions, woke narratives​ and gives us FULL CONTROL over the platform that we build.​
FBE Raw is that place!
- The Long Version -
The road from where we started in January of 2020, with just a couple dozen of subscribers, all the way to the now +100,000 strong and standalone FBE Raw platform, is a long and confusing one. Often times, leading to people asking, why did you switch topics
and how did you end up here?
However, when you follow the thread, a clear pattern starts to emerge, showing how each transition naturally flowed from the previous one.

Founding of the FBE Channel on YouTube!
While working as a freelance software engineer, I starting out making generic finance videos. These were aimed at expats and digital nomads, like myself.
Using my experience of traveling & working throughout Europe.
Stocks & Crypto
I eventually got bored with giving out generic finance information and switched to analyzing Stocks & Crypto, which was a lot more exciting.
This also allowed me more creativity, in creating the videos and focusing more on storytelling & visuals.
Financial Scams & YouTube Drama
Even though I was able to be more creative with the stocks & crypto videos, it still wasn't enough to satisfy my creative appetite.
I kept leaning more and more towards, covering financial scams and societal issues.
This lead to my first major "viral video" covering the Austin McBroom and Social Gloves financial disaster.
This video quickly gained +300K views, in just 16 days, which was quite a lot, for a small channel, with less than 4,5K subscribers.
This initial success lead me down the YouTube drama pipeline, which was a very lucrative one. Often times having RPMs in the $12-$16 range. This made me understand why so many channels make weekly or daily Ace family drama videos. It simply pays very well.

However, I wasn't really interested in milking the Ace family or YouTube drama for life and so after covering a few major Ace family disasters and drama stories I switched back to broader societal issues.
Back to Financial Scams & Societal Issues
So even though that YouTube Adsense money, for drama videos was sweet, I simply wasn't interested in pursuing that route.
Which meant back to financials scams & societal issues, covering the billion dollar cocaine imports into Rotterdam and the financial impact of Russia invading Ukraine.
ALL-In on Societal issues!
After going back to financial scams & societal issues, I began leaning more and more towards giving my own opinion and perspective on societal issues.
Issues that I saw as being massive lies or massive hypocrisy, that I wanted to set straight.

This allowed me the most creative freedom in creating the videos, while actually being passionate about the topics I was covering.
FBE Channel Sued + Video removed
What goes UP, must come down! So after going ALL-IN on societal issues and achieving great success with this, with multiple videos doing well over 1 million views, I started pissing off a lot off people.

You see the very same people, that like to talk a lot of shit online, can't handle it, when you disprove their ideology or opinions, with facts and logic.
But instead of debating or refuting the points made in the videos, they start frivolous lawsuits, trying to get you to shut up and have your videos taken down.
However, I will NEVER back down and nor will the channel!
